Hello, my name is Debi Lewis and I am so thankful to be able to offer the experience of yoga to you here at Joyflow. Through yoga you can:
*change tight, stressed muscles into relaxed, strong muscles.
*learn to relax just by changing your breath.
*heal back pain and many other ailments that are the result of our busy stress-filled lives.
*learn to focus your mind and feel the clarity that comes from releasing worries and fears.
*achieve confidence, balance, strength and flexibility in body, mind and spirit.
*experience a spiritual connection that is beyond words and is life transforming. It is Joyflow!
Give me the chance to show you this rewarding and healing path. Come try a few classes and you will see for yourself. Many people wait until they are in pain. Don't wait; do it now! Many people don't come because they are in pain. Yoga is a way to heal; do it now! Let me prove to you that yoga can be the thing that does IT for you, keeping you healthy and strong in body, clear and focused in mind, and experiencing the Joy of being in the flow of Divine Source.
Joyflow Yoga Center is dedicated to creating community with this purpose in mind, offering expert instruction and inspiration with the intention of helping each student experience his or her true nature of Joy. As we flow through our postures, we experience the inner flow of Divine Play, the Lila Vinyasa, in our bodies, minds and spirits. Playful vinyasa classes with attention to alignment and breath are beginner friendly and range from Restorative, Alignment and Basics classes for the beginner, to Vinyasa and Power classes for more challenge. Pranayama and Meditation are emphasized. Debi Lewis's 24 year background in a variety of yoga styles results in a class experience that is affirming, inspiring and easily adapted to individual's needs. Our staff of Joyflow teachers offers a wealth of experience and inspiration coming from a variety of backgrounds. Private instruction, Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy and Enneagram consulting are also offered by appointment. A 200 hour Yoga Alliance registered Teacher Training is offered each year, beginning in September. Gift certificates are available.

Because of my job I tend to hunch my back and sit in one position throughout the day. Yoga has helped me improve my posture through back and shoulder stretches.
