Joyflow Yoga Teacher Training

Joyflow Yoga 200 Hour Teacher Training has been accredited by the Yoga Alliance since 2001 and has certified 20 classes of teachers. It was the first registered training in Mississippi and has inspired new teachers all over the Southeast.

We are now taking applications for the next training which will begin in September of 2019. This year the training will consist of weekend intensives, weekly on-line classroom sessions and personalized private sessions. The Joyflow training is unique in that it reflects the 30 year background of Debi's experience in a variety of styles and traditions. Her teaching style is playful, nurturing and generous in its scope. She strives to cultivate confidence and self-awareness in all those she mentors. Some participants have a strong desire to teach professionally and some are interested in a deep dive into a personal yoga experience, and this training is designed for either or both goals.

"The Joyflow Teacher Training program is wonderful and I highly recommend it. It gave me a very well-rounded body of knowledge that not only included how to teach yoga asanas to a class, but also the history and evolution of yoga and how to make it part of our lives off the mat. I gained a new understanding and respect for different types of yoga. I appreciated how Debi worked individually with each of us to help us develop our own personal style of teaching that worked best with our unique personalities. Debi has a great reputation within the MS yoga community and I've heard nothing but positive things about her. Overall, I left the training feeling confident and ready to begin my teaching career." E.H.

"I could not have asked for a better yoga teacher training experience. Debi has a huge heart and is knowledgeable about all things yoga. She did an excellent job in preparing me to go out into the world and share the love of yoga through teaching. I recommend Joyflow Yoga to anyone looking to broaden their knowledge and experience of yoga." A. A.
